Meet the Editor and Founder, KeriGlenn.

This site achieved the “2012 Simpson College Iron Journalist” award.

The idea of WildFarmKids came about in late November of 2011 when Keri’s little brother, Joshua, died while playing the choking game. This is something that Keri and her family knew nothing about. They have now made it their mission to inform as many people about this as possible, even if it’s just casually brought up in conversation.

“The loss of my brother has completely turned my life around and I don’t want another family to go through what my family and I have been through” says KeriGlenn.

This site is to inform parents, guardians, teachers, family, friends, caregivers, and everyone who has children in their lives about the choking game. “There just isn’t very much current information out there about this ‘game’ that is taking so many lives” says KeriGlenn.

Keri, along with her mom, Wendi, are becoming advocates for the very thing that took the life of Joshua. Sharing their story isn’t easy but they know they have to do it, to help other families out there. It isn’t something that many people talk about, but it needs to be talked about. If this site saves just one life, or educates people, it has done its job.

This is real and someone you know is probably doing it.

Some people may or may not know about the Choking Game. This site will explain in-depth what it is, what the warning signs are, and how losing a loved one can be prevented.

This is our last family picture with Joshua.
