Yesterday was Mothers day, for a mother that has a child in heaven it is complicated to say the least. There are so many emotions that dart in and out of our thoughts. We wonder what would our child be like today. For me and my house, we know we will see Joshua again in heaven. That’s what gives us comfort. We know our son had received the gift of Salvation and is with Jesus now. Oh it still hurts, we all miss Joshua and we all wonder what was God thinking to take him back, Joshua loved talking about the Bible and sharing the lessons from Sunday school with others. And then we become still, we know, we know God has a plan that is bigger then us, and it brings others to Him also. That’s the goal, bringing people to know Christ.

Joshua’s sister Josi sang for me as my Mother’s day gift in our barn with all the sounds of the farm in the background and I recorded it to share. God gave her the amazing talent of singing so beautifully, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. It’s the perfect song, I cried, I smiled, I felt God’s plan and I know Joshua is in Heaven.

If you have not asked Jesus to come into your life and be your Savior below is a simple version of the Salvation prayer. Open your heart and be true to the words;

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
Amen

The Holy Spirit is now in you and you can talk to God anytime you want to. Anywhere you want to.
